Our opening night at Hackney Church features an absurdist, sci-fi opera, the truth is as elusive as ever, featuring spam, the cost of living crisis and world war three, by cult noise artist Russell Haswell, a panto, Groyne ‘n’ Goosed, inspired by the Garbage Pail Kids, by composer Adam de la Cour, LET’S CREATE the first in a series of four sound pieces by artist Matt Copson, AI-generated text score A Glimpse of the Art Basel, by composer Jennifer Walshe, shitpost modernism in the form of The Feelmouth Greeny, by composer Laurie Tompkins, and new found fragmentfreshly discovered work by a shadowy composer of the pre-medieval age, Viola Torros.

To end the night, aya, who is the 46th aya listed on the online encyclopaedic music listing site Discogs, will play with the music of the 45 ayas that precede her.
