Immersivism for dinner. You sit to eat and around you a drama emerges, a world premiere staging of a twenty-minute opera about power and envy from one of the world's greatest living composers Gerald Barry.
Singing the lead role in Barry's La Plus Forte - “a hilarious and deeply poignant one-woman opera” (The Daily Telegraph) - will be acclaimed Australian soprano Allison Bell (pictured above).
To complement this tale of female rivalry, Sound Four has commissioned a second opera monologue from award-winning, twenty-four year old composer Kate Whitley about power and manipulation in the male world.
